Al Ghazali institute is a muslim society that aims at promoting the learning of the Deen of Allah according to the four traditional madhhab of Ahl as-sunna wal Jama`a in Sweden. The society emphasises the practice of the sacred knowledge and the adaabs related to learning and da`wa. It derives its inspirationfrom the pious predecessors; the companions may Allah be pleased with them, the followers and those who followed their footsteps among all generations may Allah have mercy on them, in aspects related to the ways they learned, understood and practiced the Deen.

The Arabic word ‘Tareeqah’ means ‘path’ or ‘way’. ‘The path or way of who?’ is given by the second word ‘Muhammadiyah’. Therefore, Tareeqah Muhammadiyah basically means, ‘The Way of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon Him)’. Tareeqah Muhammadiyah is a practical course of self-purification for every and any individual followed under the instructions of a Guide Hazrat Ahmad Dabbagh (may Allah continue to shower His infinite blessings upon Him).

The Arabic word "Islam" means peace, submission, and obedience. The religion of Islam consists of the complete acceptance of the teachings and guidance of ALLAH as revealed to His Prophet Muhammad (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam).
